Reflections-History Project

1. What did you learn from working on this project?

- I've learn that, with well communicative and responsible team members we can finish our given work on time and efficiently. Without the spirit of teamwork, a group CANNOT complete the task given on time. Wonderful piece of work can only be done if everyone cooperate and does his/her given task well without complains.

2. What can be improved about the way the project was carried out? (Eg. planning, research, presentation, model-making, etc)

- All team members Must be cooperative, or else ,the work given will not be able to be handed in on time. More research and time can be add in,to produce an interesting yet fun presentations. There should be more time for the pupils to study others presentations. We should explain our piece of work in clear explanaton.

After this project, i personally feel that i have a better understanding of the topic we are in. It is as interesting as compare to the normal class teaching. I hope we can have these type of project, class presentations in future.

Reflections on Religion and Philosophy

1 . In a country like Singapore which is multi-religious, what are the possible challenges we might face?

- We might probably face racial riots as Singapore has many religious.


2. How can we overcome these challenges ?

- Singaporeans can over come this challeng ( racial riots) by knowing more about other people's religious and culture, to prevent misunderstandings.
- We should not critizise other people with different religious.
- We should respect what other people's belief.

3. How was religions and philosophies important to the people of the ancient civilisation?

- Religious affects the way the country was ruled, the way people leads their lives.
- Having religion helps the people,as there are codes of conduct in each of the different type of religion which teaches how people should behave correctly with peace and harmony.
- Religious had taught us to be kind and polite towards others, others before self, giving alms to those who are in need. With this, people in the country can live in harmony as there is a strong social bonds between them.

Similarities between society of the 3 civilisations

1. What were the similarities between the government & society of the 3 ancient civilisations?

- All 3 civilisations have different occupations,goverment and writing systems.
- All have a Class System.

2. What were the difference between the government & society of the 3 ancient civilisations?

- Each of the civilisations had a different class system.
- They had believes in different gods and relgious.
- The class system in India is fixed, while in China and Southeast Asia it is fluidity.


3. How similar or different are their system with Singapore?

- Singapore does not have a class system.
- Singapore has a Prime Minister while during ancient times, they had kings/emperor to rule over a country.
- Singapore is more advanced compared to ancient time.
